WILL ONLINE CASINOS AFFECT TRADITIONAL CASINOS IN MICHIGAN?

Online casinos in Michigan are now legal. The first MI online gambling sites should start offering slots and table games from late 2023 or early 2024. But what effect will they have on existing land-based casinos in Michigan? If other regulated states like New Jersey are anything to go by, offline casinos shouldn’t suffer.

During 2017 and 2018, both land-based casinos and online casinos in NJ increased their revenues. More jobs have been created, more wages have been paid out and more tax revenue has been raised. If land-based casinos in Michigan can get the right deals with online software operators, there’s nothing to suggest the same won’t happen in the state.

How Online Casinos Compare to Land-Based Casinos

The best casinos in Michigan offer a variety of games, lots of amenities for guests and big-money promotions. So, how will online casinos in Michigan compare?

First, the travel element will be completely cut out. You can log on via your PC or tablet and play slots or roulette from home or on the go. You can even play free slots to test out games.
