BetMGM Offering $200 Sign-Up Bonus for New Users in Michigan

BetMGM is already one of the more well-established gaming brands in Michigan.

In March, MGM Resorts launched the BetMGM Sports Lounge inside MGM Grand Detroit, officially becoming one of the first sportsbooks to debut in the state. And now, BetMGM is looking to gain a large stake in Michigan’s online gaming and mobile sports betting market with its latest promotion.

New users in Michigan who register with BetMGM will be eligible to redeem a $200 welcome bonus for its online sportsbook and casino. Players who sign up will get $100 in Freebets to be used on sports in addition to a $100 Freeplay online casino bonus.

How it works

BetMGM’s $200 promotion is available to new customers from Dec. 10 through Jan. 4. Players in Michigan who are 21 or older are qualified to apply.

Once the sign-up process is completed, both $100 rewards will be issued to your account when online casino gaming and mobile sports betting goes live in Michigan. No deposit is needed during the pre-registration period in order to be eligible to redeem this offer. The only requirement is to fully complete the account registration process and verify your account.

Users will have seven days to use their $100 Freebets before they expire. The seven days are counted from when a player receives the Freebets on the first day BetMGM Sports is live in Michigan. Freebets can only be used on BetMGM Sports and can be used on any sport or game.

Similarly, the casino Freeplay expires after seven days. Freeplay can be used on any casino game and will go live when Michigan’s online casino gaming officially launches.

Rollover requirement

BetMGM’s rollover requirement for its $100 Freebets and $100 Freeplay promotion is one time the free play amount. So for every $1 in free play, the player must bet $1. For example, with this welcome promotion, new players must wager at least $100 in Freebets and Freeplay to cash out the bonus and any winnings associated with the bets that were made.

Players will have 14 days to complete the rollover requirement. Once the wagering requirements are completed, the winnings will be credited to the player’s account balance.
