BetMGM Officially Launches Online Poker Platform in Michigan

Michigan online poker players now have another platform to play on.

BetMGM announced the launch of BetMGM Poker in Michigan on Monday, making Michigan the second state in the U.S. to feature BetMGM Poker, joining New Jersey.

PokerStars and BetMGM Poker are the two online poker options for players in Michigan.

“The launch of BetMGM Poker in Michigan fully rounds out our premier gaming portfolio in the state,” Adam Greenblatt, chief executive officer for BetMGM, said in a news release. “BetMGM’s sports betting and casino offerings have been met with incredible early success in Michigan and we’re thrilled to provide players with another exciting gaming option.”

A mobile app for BetMGM is available to players in Michigan. After downloading the app, players can join poker rooms and compete against people across the state. BetMGM will have numerous poker variants and signature poker tournaments such as the popular partypoker U.S. Network Progressive Knockout Bounty Online Series, the release said. BetMGM Poker will also have cash games of all buy-in levels.

BetMGM Poker will also be included with BetMGM’s sports betting and online casino mobile app, allowing players to manage their funds in a singular wallet.

“The demand for online poker in Michigan was made clear by players across the state,” Ray Stefanelli, director of poker for BetMGM, said in the release. “BetMGM Poker is proud to offer them a seat at our tables and we’re confident that BetMGM Michigan customers will enjoy an engaging, reliable and fun poker experience.”

BetMGM Poker Bonuses Available

BetMGM Poker is celebrating the launch of its poker platform in the state with special offers. New players are eligible for a $25 bonus and a 100% deposit match bonus up to $600. All BetMGM users in Michigan will also be invited to a $50,000 Freeroll Invitational Tournament scheduled for April 4.
