DraftKings has a wide range of Blackjack-style games, and now players in Michigan have another available to them.

The addition of Spanish 21 to its online casino catalog was announced earlier this month in a news release from the gaming company. The game became immediately available in New Jersey and was planned to roll out in Michigan, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, pending regulatory approval from the state’s gaming boards.

In Michigan, the game is now available to players. Residents within the state can find Spanish 21 listed under the DraftKings table games section of the DraftKings casino app.

“Spanish 21 has always been a popular land-based casino game, and we are proud to exclusively bring the Blackjack variant to our casino platform,” Jason March, vice president of gaming at DraftKings, said in the release. “Developed in-house with our customers in mind, we are excited to roll the game out for our casino players.”

The game is similar to traditional Blackjack. The dealer in Spanish 21 must always hit on 16 and stand on 17, but on a natural 21 of the first two cards is always paid out as a winner whether or not the dealer has a blackjack. Players can also double down on any number of cards, surrender after doubling down on the original bet and after splitting aces, in addition to drawing unlimited subsequent cards.

Spanish 21 joins DraftKings’ other catalog of Blackjack-style games, including DraftKings Basketball, Football, Baseball, Soccer, Pride, Hockey and more.

DraftKings Third-Highest Online Casino in March

DraftKings posted the third-highest online casino revenue for March, according to the monthly report from the Michigan Gaming Control Board. DraftKings reported $16.5 million in internet casino revenue, finishing behind BetMGM ($30.7 million) and FanDuel ($19 million) as the top online casino operators in the state.

Each month DraftKings has seen its online casino revenue increase in Michigan. DraftKings reported $7 million in January after the state launched its mobile sports betting and online casino platforms on Jan. 22. In its first full month, DraftKings recorded $14.5 million in casino revenue during February before the $16.5 million this past March.

In total, DraftKings has produced $38 million in online casino revenue since going live in Michigan.
