When the Detroit Pistons host the Houston Rockets on Friday, new DraftKings customers in Michigan will be eligible to double their money if the Pistons make a single 3-pointer, according to a news release.
The other Michigan launch boost comes on Sunday during the NFL Conference Championships. Bettors can double their money if any NFL team scores a touchdown.
Barring any offensive meltdowns, both boosts seem likely to cash out as winners.

DraftKings Sportsbook also notes in the release that Michigan bettors can expect several promotions related to the Tigers, Pistons, Lions and Red Wings, as well as the Division I college football and basketball programs.
In November, DraftKings announced a sports betting partnership with the Pistons. Bettors can expect team-specific, free-to-pay pools, odd boosts and more.
In addition to the sports betting options, DraftKings has online casino games, including 17 blackjack, six roulette and three Baccarat exclusive offerings that will also be available to Michigan players.
“We look forward to officially launching our partnership with DraftKings and bringing a new aspect of gaming entertainment to our fellow Michiganders,” Bryan Newland, Indian community chairman at Bay Mills, said in the release. “Online gaming and sports betting will help our tribe and our casino move solidly into the future.”
