GAN Limited has found its first partner for its new online gaming content.

The company, which is based in Sydney, Australia, announced Wednesday the deployment of its online gaming content, Ainsworth Game Technology Ltd.

The content can be seen in Michigan on the TwinSpires online wagering service. It was launched Tuesday by GAN’s SuperRGS, a content aggregation platform.

GAN finds itself launching a new product in a state achieving tremendous growth in gambling. Michigan recently announced a record $497.5 million in October. The Michigan online sports betting apps were red hot, particularly, with mobile sports betting accounting for 93% of sports betting in October for a total of $463.3 million.

In a press release, GAN referred to itself as a “full-service internet gaming software-as-a-service provider to the real money internet gaming, online sports betting, and simulated gaming industries.”

GAN Sees Michigan as First of Many

“We're delighted to release the first highly-regarded Ainsworth online slot titles to GAN clients in Michigan, with all other iGaming States on the roadmap for 2022,” Jason Lim, Ainsworth’s general manager for online, said in a statement on the Michigan gambling annoucement.

“Working efficiently with GAN to integrate our RGS into their Super RGS content aggregation platform has been a positive experience for all parties.”

GAN announced in May an agreement to obtain the exclusive online rights to all current and future Ainsworth online games for an undisclosed amount. Ainsworth currently has more than 70 games and several new ones will be unveiled in the short term.

“We are excited to launch our first major client of Super RGS and feature the leading portfolio of Ainsworth’s proven online titles,” said Dermot Smurfit, CEO of GAN, in the news release. “This is a key inflection point for Super RGS as we believe most iGaming operators in the U.S. will become clients of our Super RGS in relatively short order.

“Super RGS will allow GAN to increase its take rate on Gross Operator Revenue and open a new broad-based customer base.”

“Demand from B2C Operators for our content remains strong and we are looking forward to greatly ramping our online slot portfolio and distributing the same with the help of GAN.”

Also this week, TwinSpires recently completed its BetAmerica online sports betting integration, moving all BetAmerica customers and rewards over to the Churchill Downs-owned company in Louisville, Ky.

Michigan Mobile Sports Apps on Fire in October

The record $463.3 million from mobile sports wagering is the first time the number in Michigan has topped $400 million since the market launched in January.

That figure was up more than 30 percent from the September number of $386.8 million. The previous record of $359.5 million was achieved in March.

FanDuel Michigan was the leader among online sportsbooks. FanDuel, partnered with the MotorCity Casino, had an online handle of $124, which was slightly higher than DraftKings Michigan ($120.4 million) and BetMGM Michigan ($102.2 million).
