Golden Nugget Online Gaming (GNOG) announced Tuesday a partnership agreement with Detroit City Football Club (DCFC) to be its exclusive online gaming partner, effective immediately.
The company extends its current online gaming and sports marketing portfolio by partnering with DCFC, league champions of the National Independent Soccer Association and founded in 2012, It will provide an opportunity that both see as a chance to grow interest and engagement with football clubs and online casinos in Michigan.
“We are thrilled to announce this new partnership with DCFC,” Samir Banerjee, director of marketing for GNOG, said in a news release. “At GNOG, we firmly believe that players come first. This philosophic approach to emerging markets allows us to cater the GNOG experience on a more personal level. We want to be part of the communities we enter into and this partnership helps us connect with fans near and far. We look forward to building longstanding partnerships as we continue to grow.”
Golden Nugget was one of the first operators to go live as a in Michigan gambling site when it launched its online casino and MI sports betting platform on Jan. 22.

Golden Nugget Casino MI will also be the official training kit sponsor for both the men’s and women’s team, in-stadium sponsored fan nights, community engagements, digital collaborations, VIP experiences and more.

Last Saturday, Detroit City FC defeated Chattanooga FC, 2-1, after a 21-day layoff and will face Wednesday’s winner between Chattanooga FC and LA Force in the NISA Championship at 7:30 p.m. ET Saturday at Keyworth Stadium in Hamtramck, Michigan.
