The Detroit Tigers and Detroit Red Wings each reached another sports betting agreement.

On Monday, FanDuel announced a new collaboration with MotorCity Casino that will provide FanDuel Sportsbook with official gaming partner status.

As part of the agreement, FanDuel will be featured on static and digital signage at both Comerica Park and Little Caesars Arena, including on the outfield wall and on dasher boards, according to a news release. FanDuel will also be featured on the Tigers and Red Wings Radio Networks, which is broadcasted to fans across the state of Michigan.

FanDuel already has a prominent presence in Michigan. The retail sportsbook at MotorCity Casino is branded by FanDuel, while FanDuel also partnered with MotorCity to launch its mobile sports betting and online casino app on Jan. 22.

“After a very successful launch in Michigan, we are excited to continue our momentum by partnering in this way with two of the most iconic sports organizations in the country,” Mike Raffensperger, chief marketing office of FanDuel, said in a media release. “To celebrate, we are offering a $25 registration bonus for all eligible Red Wings and Tigers fans that use the code DETROIT after registering for a FanDuel Sportsbook account.”

Third Sports Betting Deal for Tigers

This marks the third different sports betting agreement for the Tigers. In July, the Tigers were the first MLB team to reach a deal with a sports betting company when it announced a deal with PointsBet. On March 31, the team then revealed it had reached a sports betting agreement with BetMGM, making this deal with FanDuel the third for the organization.

PointsBet is also partnered with the Red Wings.

FanDuel has already established as one of the top online operators in Michigan. In February, it had the highest sports betting handle at $87.2 million, while on the online casino side, FanDuel came in second in revenue at $16.5 million, trailing only BetMGM at $26.9 million.
