High 5 Games Granted Michigan Online Casino Supplier License

As Michigan awaits for the official online casino gaming and mobile sports betting launch, players are getting an idea of which companies will be ready when the state goes live

The Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) is currently in the licensing and regulatory approval process for platform providers and operators, and as licenses are granted, those providers move a step closer to being one of the first to go active when online gaming and mobile sports betting officially launch.

High 5 Games is the latest online casino provider to earn a license after the MGCB issued an online casino supplier license to the gaming company. The license will allow the provider to operate when Michigan’s online casino gaming launches. High 5 is partnered with Golden Nugget Online Casino.

Golden Nugget and High 5’s partnership is prevalent in New Jersey, where over 100 High 5 games are available at Golden Nugget’s New Jersey online casino.

In July, Golden Nugget announced a partnership with the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community, which operates the Ojibwa Casinos in Marquette and Baraga. This deal gave Golden Nugget access to the Michigan market, allowing the operator to launch an online casino and sportsbook in the state.
